It is not for nothing that Kerala is called God's own country...at least parts of it!

Thanks Smitha..

Can I guess? Palghat, Munnar, enroute to Munnar... I give up...please do fill in the names too..

Cant wait to board the plane..this time for us it may be a little earlier than usual due to a wedding.. which means only 2 months to go!

Vinod: if u mean the greenery.. then it is the same all throughout.. but if u mean GOC well.. :)

I have been there but only to Thrissur, Guruvayoor and adjoining areas of Mallapuram. Missed the backwaters. May be some other time!

@Vinod - Yes, the greenery is amazing.. I realize it more after travelling to Kerala from other parts of India..

@Happy Kitten - Sorry - Its all Wayanad! Maybe I should have made it a game - with a prize for the winner :)
I will try and do a proper photopost - when I finish getting the house in order :)

@IHM - Will do another post - with all the places we visited. Just posted these for Ajit to see:)

@Ajit - These snaps are all from Wayanad- my parents are there. Will do a proper post - with some more snaps - from all the places we went to:)

Smi, Kerala looks the same throughout. I mean I was guessing it to be Thekkady and Munnar or may be Idukki and later scrolled down to read that it is Wayanad.

Never been to Wayanad. So beautiful!

:(:(:( Home sick.

Yes! you should have made it a game. :)

Smitha..sigh.. u have made most of us homesick..

Wayanad is one place I am yet to see.. nd last time we missed it due to lack of time.. we went only up till Calicut.. this time there seems to be more chance.

Kerala is a good place only to go for a few day's holiday, get recharged and come back. That's what I do. Wish its politics and social dynamics are as green and refreshing as Nature.

@JPJ - Yes, Wayanad is indeed lovely. India has so many diverse , but equally beautiful places - its amazing.. The flower in the header is from my mom's garden :)

Vimmuuu - Travelogue is coming up -just haven't had the chance to work on it yet :)

@Indyeah - I have no idea of the name - will ask my mom. Just found it very beautiful..

@Sahaja - Kerala is beautiful - mainly because of the greenery.. The photograph was clicked by my husband:)

@Pixie - Thank you. And will do a travelogue - when I get a chance to get my breath back :)

@Solilo - I know, Kerala looks the same throughout.. And the amazing thing is the way the scenery changes as soon as you cross the border at Palghat and Mysore - I have not entered into Kerala from any other place :(

Awww!!! So sorry if I've made you homesick! Hugs!

@Happy Kitten - Sorry for making you homesick too :( Looks like I have spread my illness :) Do visit Wayanad - and if I am home - you should visit me too :)

@Nimmy - Thank you! Got bored of the other look and was feeling low - so wanted to do something different :)

@Hitchwriter - Thank you! Yes it does look tranquil doesn't it...

@Pradeep - Yes , guess you are right when you say that its good for a vacation.. As for politics - less said the better..
